Placing the Baby Monitor

This Levana Baby Monitor are generally put on a table top or hung at a screw to the wall above the area being monitored. Place the monitor within ten feet within the place being watched intended for best image and to ensure that all will probably be visible with the IR LEDs on.

1. It is possible to carry your monitor onto your belt by turning up the clip at the back of the monitor.
2. You may also set up the monitor at a tabletop just by rotating the belt clip downward and using it as being a support stand.

Using the Rechargeable Battery

1. Move the belt clip at the backside of the monitor unit, upwards.
2. Remove the power supply compartment cover just by moving it downwards off the back of the monitor
3. Add the included rechargeable battery, plug the battery cord in to the small jack inside the battery compartment.

Charging the Monitor and Rechargeable Battery

1. To charge the battery in your monitor unit, place the monitor frontwards on to the charging dock once the power adapter has been attached.
2. The power LED definitely will light red to indicate the battery is being charged.
3. For safety reasons, use ONLY the adapters included in the package.

Night Vision

The Levana LV-TW501 camera has eight IR (infrared) LEDs. These LEDs, located on the front side of the camera, will let you view up to ten feet on complete darkness. Allowing you to check out your infant any time of night. The night time vision LEDs should start immediately when the camera detects that the light levels are actually very low.

Adjusting the Temperature Measurement

The ideal temperature for the baby’s room is between 16° – 20° celcius or 61° – 68°fahrenheit. Make sure you set or adjust the room temperature accordingly.

1. Click the menu button two times.
2. The temperature symbol will display on the screen along with the current status of the temperature function, either Celcius, Fahrenheit, or OFF.
3. Use the down and up buttons at the left side of the monitor to show the temperature function ON, to display either Celcius or Fahrenheit temperatures, or to set the temperature function OFF.

Selecting a LV-TW501 Lullaby

1. Push the play/pause button on the right hand side of the monitor once.
2. The lullaby icon will appear on the monitor screen, and the last played lullaby will start to play.
   Press the lullaby press button on the right area of the monitor to choose one of five lullabies to play.
3. Press the up and down volume buttons during playback to modify the volume of the music.
